Visually, the game is simple but has that sterile office vibe that Portal is known for and it runs at a solid framerate.īridge Constructor Portal merges two franchises that I never thought would work together, but it does and it does well. Of course, building a bridge is a lot more complex than it would seem… I mean, the sheer randomness of merging the two franchises is nothing short of genius as you try and build bridges to get the vehicles across by making them go through portals at certain angles and speeds, to avoid turrets, acid pools, laser barriers, land on switches and reach the exit. Well here’s a crossover no-one saw coming…Portal meets Bridge Constructor. The game is pretty much what you can infer from the title: a crossover between the Bridge Constructor series and Portal. The goal of each level is to get a vehicle from one side of the screen to the other. Bridge Constructor Portal will hit Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on February 28 before releasing on PS4 the next day, March 1. That will change soon though, as the release dates for both the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One versions of the game were announced today.
